Reality
Unreality
My vision
or yours
is what we see what we are?
Or it is but a shadow
a thought of what we can be?
touch the end of experience?
death the end of a day?
any more beyond us
or does it end this way
a reduction to soil and dirt
a return to whence we came?
no god or higher being
will note my passing or my name
this energy gone forever
twisted in decay
my soul lost
set free
everything I am
gone with me

or a transcendence
beyond what we know
to some other time and place
take on new form
experience beyond touch
a mind of possibilities
energy chase
connection find
bonding
knowing
seeking
redefine
that which you think you know
fragments put together
glued in your mind
accepted reality
redefined anew

Question and seeking
answers not found
reality wavers
new pathways found
instinct and belief
tools of all man kind
those we have forgotten
left behind
pushing what we know
lose what we had
price worth paying
or cost too high?
