You see the progression of truth and lies
Twisting around you
Eat you from the inside
Three steps forward
Two steps back
Truth before you
Turn away
So wrapped up in your own world
The plight of others you give no mind
So these thoughts are here to plague you
To bother
Until from the truth you can not hideSelfish
Self righteous
Importance your all
Give no thought to others at all

Twisted
Broken
Self deceit
Look down in judgment from your seat

We see the progression of truth and lies
Twisting around us
Eat us from the inside
So many steps forward
Even more back
On our known truth we turn our back

Your View of the world is from your own place
No thought of others
None at all
You value the world at what it can do for you
Never give back
Take is your all

That which does not fit your world view
Dismissed out of hand
No second thought
Yet we are here to remind you of what you forget
In your dreams at night
We won’t let you sleep

We’ll show the the progression of truth and lies
We’ll twist around you
Eat you from the inside
We’ll drag you forward
Won’t let you step back
Make you see the world through the other’s eyes

These are the thoughts you can’t deny
Live your life for your own pleasure
You don’t give a pray to the dead and dying
They are no use to you

You live your life in the progression of truth and lies
Twist around you
Eat yourself from the inside
But you see no fault with this
Is this not what we all do?
Yes it is..
