Love Song For The Lost

Alone in silence
I sit and stare
Memories of yesteryear
Float like snowflakes in the air
Old times pass my eyesThe good and bad
I see it all
Think of you in better times
Even though those times are short
Those memories are my best of all

I think of you
Most ever day
Yet I try to push those thoughts away
Thinking about what can not be
What worse torture can you see?

You’ll never say
What I want
Three words to just make a start
We’ll just drift our separate ways
Ignore each other for always

While I try
To get past you
It seem that I never will do
Even when I’m lost in a rage
My caring for you always stays

It might not
Seem this way
And I feel like Feeder when I say
I miss you more and more each day
And I don’t know where to go from here

Read my words
Each every day
Look to see what I have to say
Things about you; good and bad
This poem is all I ever had

And I know
Things will not change
You mind is set in your ways
But this is all I’ve left now
I had to try somehow

Because despite it all I can’t let go
Because despite it all I can’t let go
Never able to let you go.
